An experiment in authorship and agency, this series began with a technical failure when a drawing robot could not lift its stylus. Stripped of precision, the machine became an unexpected collaborator, producing intricate, continuous linework on scratchboard. The resulting compositions move between control and chance, revealing an underlying logic within malfunction. This project investigates the intersections of technology, error, and artistic intent, where breakdown becomes a source of creation rather than an endpoint.
